November 11, 2015

Dear Families,
We went to Art this morning and got to finger paint a picture of a pumpkin! (Jaxson)
We even got to mix yellow and red to make orange! (Annie)
We used a new visual strategy (that was shared last night at our Night of Wonder event) to find out that we were going to learn about Veteran's day today!
We wrote about ways we are thankful for our veterans. (Josie)
We went to computer lab! (Eric)
We reviewed how we can use a number line to solve adding number problems and what a plus sign (symbol) looks like.
Then we explored US symbols!
I even showed the class a video of Texas A&M's cadets marching at the halftime show honoring Veterans! (It's where I went to college!) Thank you to all of our family members that are veterans!
