We started discussing what a tradition is by recording our thoughts on an anchor chart. After we have explored our traditions, we will look at this chart to see if our thinking has changed. (Kenna)
We started revising our favorite story in writing workshop.
We learned about number lines in math. (Hyrum)
We read the story Pumpkin Pumpkin and sequenced pictures to help retell the story.
Reminders:
- Please send in 25 individually wrapped snacks and turkey feathers if you have not done so already.
- Also please send in your cantaloupe size pumpkin to school by Nov. 11.Pumpkin donations are appreciated too. Alisa Hiner, Lisa O'Connor, and Hilary Speer will help us paint pumpkins this Friday!
- On November 24th, I will like to have a Thanksgiving Feast during our snack time. Ms. Allison will help me during the feast. If you would like to provide some of our feast items please email me! We would like:
25 fruit cups
25 juice boxes--Garrett family providing
3-4 bags of popcorn (already popped)
25 string cheese
*all of these items must be commercially prepared and can not contain peanut butter or nut on the ingredient label.
